Cookie & Tracking Technologies

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Japanese Slot Guide uses necessary site functions and optional Google Analytics. Analytics is off until you explicitly accept it. Scrolling, continuing to browse, or following a link does not count as consent. Advertising consent is separate from the analytics choice described on this page.

Your analytics choices

Select Accept analytics to allow Google Analytics, or Reject analytics to keep it off. Both choices allow access to the whole site. You can reopen the banner using Change cookie choice and select Reject analytics to withdraw analytics consent. Changing the choice reloads the page. The control remains available across the site.

Accept analytics does not mean Accept advertising. The existing analytics banner does not grant permission for ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization, personalized ads, or other advertising purposes.

Necessary cookies and browser storage

cookie_notice_accepted records your analytics acceptance or rejection for approximately 30 days in this browser. It is a first-party preference cookie set by the Cookie Notice plugin on this site. It is not used to grant advertising consent. Clearing the cookie or using a different browser means you will be asked again.

WordPress, hosting, and security functions may also use technical cookies when needed, for example for administrator login or security checks. WordPress may use session storage to remember emoji-display support. These functions are separate from optional analytics and advertising.

Optional Google Analytics cookies

Provider: Google. Purpose: site-use statistics, including page views and interactions. Data: cookie identifiers, page and event information, referrers, browser/device information, and approximate location. Google also receives technical connection information when its scripts are loaded.

_ga distinguishes browsers, and _ga_01752LTP6S (a property-specific _ga_* cookie) maintains session state. Their default expiry is two years and can be renewed by use while analytics is permitted. The shorter, approximately 30-day consent-choice cookie controls whether our analytics tag may load. See Google’s cookie documentation.

Our Google Analytics tag is not loaded before analytics consent or when analytics is rejected. Google Signals and analytics advertising-personalization features are disabled in our tag. Advertising-related consent signals are not granted by this analytics banner.

Advertising and Google AdSense

The site is preparing to use Google AdSense after site approval. AdSense advertising is not authorized by the existing Accept analytics button. Before consent-dependent advertising is enabled for a user, the site must use the advertising consent mechanism required for that user’s region.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, advertising consent will be handled through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) supporting the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework. That CMP is separate from the current analytics-only Cookie Notice choice. It can present advertising purposes and vendor choices required for Google’s advertising products.

When AdSense is active, Google and advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies where permitted to deliver, secure, limit, and measure ads. Depending on region and consent, ads can be personalized, non-personalized, or subject to restricted/limited processing. See the Privacy Policy for more information.

Consent Mode separation

The site’s current analytics implementation treats analytics and advertising as separate purposes. Accepting analytics may grant analytics_storage, while advertising-related signals such as ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization are not granted by that choice. Advertising permissions, where applicable, must come from the separate advertising consent flow.

Withdrawing consent and deleting cookies

After you change the analytics choice to Reject analytics, the page reloads without our Google Analytics tag. The withdrawal handler attempts to remove the site’s accessible _ga and _ga_* cookies. You may also delete cookies through your browser. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information already received by Google; privacy and deletion requests can be sent to info@japanese-slot-guide.com.

When the advertising CMP is active, use its advertising privacy controls to change or withdraw advertising consent. The analytics control and advertising CMP are intentionally separate so one choice is not silently interpreted as the other.
