Google Analytics and information sent to Google
With analytics consent, Google Analytics receives page and interaction events, referring-page information, browser and device details, approximate location, and cookie identifiers to help us understand site use. Your browser also sends technical connection information such as its IP address to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Our analytics implementation disables Google Signals and advertising personalization and keeps advertising-related consent denied; analytics consent is not consent to personalized advertising.
The Near me code does not intentionally send the raw latitude and longitude returned by the Geolocation API to Google Analytics. Google Analytics may still derive or process approximate location from ordinary analytics connection data when analytics has been accepted, as described above.

Google AdSense advertising
After the site is approved for advertising and AdSense is enabled, Google and participating advertising partners may process information needed to select, deliver, secure, limit, and measure ads. Depending on your region and consent choices, this can include the page URL, browser and device information, IP address and approximate location, advertising identifiers or cookies where permitted, consent signals, and information about ad impressions or interactions.
Where consent is required, advertising storage, ad user data, or ad personalization will remain unavailable unless the applicable advertising consent mechanism records the necessary permission. Hall maps and the Near me feature
Hall maps can be used without sharing your precise device location. If a hall-map page offers Near me, selecting that control calls the browser Geolocation API. The browser may show a permission prompt unless you have already granted or denied permission for this site. The feature requests a single current position with high-accuracy mode disabled; it does not continuously track your movement.
If permission is granted, the page uses the returned latitude and longitude in your browser to calculate straight-line distance to the listed halls, identify the nearest listed hall, place a temporary marker for your position, and adjust the map view. The raw coordinates are not submitted to a Japanese Slot Guide server and are not stored in Japanese Slot Guide cookies or local storage.
Because the map view is then centered or zoomed around your position and the nearest listed hall, your browser may request map tiles covering that area from OpenFreeMap. The Near me code does not make a separate request that sends your raw latitude and longitude to OpenFreeMap, but the requested map tiles can reveal the geographic area being viewed along with ordinary network information. OpenFreeMap’s own retention and security practices apply to those requests.
If you deny location permission or your browser does not support geolocation, you can continue using the area filters, hall markers, hall list, and external map links. You can later review or revoke the browser’s location permission through your browser or device settings.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, data portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in your country or region. To exercise a right, email info@japanese-slot-guide.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request; do not send identity documents with your initial message.
You can change the site’s analytics choice using Change cookie choice.
